WJS Contracting is a locally owned and operated family business, offering contracting services in towns in the North Shore of Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. We specialize in a variety of areas of residential contract work, including: stump grinding, brush removal, land clearing, excavation, parking pad and non-asphalt driveway installations, as well as firewood processing and sales.

We offer 2 firewood products: green hardwood and seasoned hardwood, which we sell by the cord and deliver directly to your home. We are the only firewood provider in Massachusetts offering box wedge firewood, which is processed through our state of the art multi-tek processors, that precisely cut all wood to 16 inches in length and produce consistent 3 1/2”x4” block style pieces which will neatly stack in your woodshed and beside your fireplace.
